Life as I knew it is over

As I read everyone's journal I see that we are all in the same place, angry, hurt, guilty, sad and missing our love one sooo much.  I keep waiting for this to get better but it doesn't.  I am constantly praying because it's the only way to let it all out I cry and get hysterical at times then I get so tired I just sit and stare.  The hardest thing is that Luis took care of the outside of the house and I really was not made for that I hate it.  There's so much to do don't know which way to turn.  It's super hot in Florida as I come in through the garage I can't even think about touching anything till the weather cools down then where do I begin to unload stuff I get mad that I am stuck with this responsibility.  The life we had is over it was a good one we shared so many good times and laughed a lot I knew I could count on Luis for anything he was more than happy to do things never thought twice me I can't stop thinking.  I hope we can all get some peace soon my mind feels like Times Square always going, I just need it to stop a little.  God help us all.

All those things our \"other half\" used to do can be daunting for us to tackle. Just do what you can.....when you can.....and somehow it will all work out. We all feel the need to be \"superhuman\" and take care of everything so it can be as it used to be..........but we are just human......and all we can do is try our best and let the rest of it go. Hope the rest of your week is good and you can get some rest. Hugs, Dianne

Life as we knew it is changed. If you think of it that was I found it easier. I know in the beginning (which is quite lengthy) it feels like it\'s over. I used to say I don\'t have a life, Don was my life. I found in the past three years that I am my life. It was quite a discovery for me. It was a very important lesson to learn.

Dianne is right. Do what you can, when you can and don\'t punish yourself for what\'s not done. Be kind and patient with yourself. Grieving is tiring work and it takes over a lot of emotions. Remember, you\'re not alone. Sharon

Life has changed for us ...and I can\'t imagine how it will get better. I like you have all the yard work to do and my husband did such a great job I hate to let it go. So after working all day I go outside and weed, mow dehead my flowers and take care of the pool. It has been one of the hottest summers here in NE that I have seen in years...we have had more days in the 90\'s we have broke records and along with that it hasn\'t rained....I can only hope we get use to doing the things that have been added to our lives by the loss of our spouses.
It only adds to the grief and pain...hugs ellen

Thanks for the kind words this is a wonderful place to vent I get so tired of talking to family and friends they just don\'t know what I am going through. This is the only place that understands. I do see myself selling this house within the next year i can\'t afford to maintain it either I hope God can bring me a buyer. God bless you all
