Life

It’s funny but the ladies I work with are kind of a pain in the ass but I know how to ignore that stuff and just deal with it as par for the course and do my work well. I was thinking of something my therapist said, a long time ago, that when you enter a relationship you kind of size things up and know what you’re signing up for. Life was feeling really punishing in every direction after I came home from work today, ate my lunch and showered and dressed. Going to the gym though important was not good. So I drove up to the Starbucks by st. Max’s church ( a change of scenery from the usual.) Then I drove towards the "Gardens of the World" to nature bathe. I stopped at the pub where I thought and wrote about these reflections and then went to the garden after that. I'm thinking about my Dad, he really differs from me as to what he likes. But I know I am a different person and that’s reality and that's ok. I am learning what it takes to keep me happy and that is definitely ok:) too.

I know Dad is very much embattled with his relationship and all the family for that matter but he likes the fight of it and signed up for and loves it.  I’m thinking about the future relationship I might have and know I’ll have to be clear about what I’m signing up for. It's a sense of humanity we have for ourselves and everyone.

I just called Dad to see how the daily battle was going. I appreciate him so much.

how lucky you are to work in a place where the gents are not a pain in the ass.
personally, i'm an equal opportunity hater. if your human, you're a pain in the ass. maintain proper social distances, please. just mask it all.
