life

I know we all have our strengths and weaknesses.

Some have a greater helping of one or the other.

We're all striving to survive and I was very proud to hear President Biden

mention yesterday that "idea" that America is based on....that we're creating

a system that tries to provide for everyone and their particular way in life.

I really think that though we each have our own measure of integrity and talent

in life - if we are strong enough to work with that special integrity or virtue that

we each possess, it can help us survive.

We can get knocked around but sometimes just getting back on the horse we were

riding can allow us to find the 'joy of life' once again and so propel us on our way.

it's funny how an episode after an upsetting experience can really make me feel like I have no community to cling
to...it's like I try and draw strength from a stone that no longer is there in order to make a start to move forward.
Does that make sense? My remedy is that I just kind of need to find my own community in my head
and make a start from there. peace

yes, mark, you are making perfect sense to this multiply certified nutjob. i'm still looking for the humor in that wretched isolation i feel after an upsetting experience. the closest i've come to finding the humor is the serenity of accepting ^it^ as a feeling, not a fact. once i get past the feeling, it is a fact that my community will be there, waiting for me to get over ^it^.

i'm not convinced strength will help us join in collective tolerance and celebration of our diversity. seems to me that strength causes more trauma than acceptance as it spins out of control with bloody results. my vote is to take our lead from the beatles.
