Lexapro 5mg + Sleeping pills
I’ve been taking sleeping pills maybe twice a week since I can have problems falling asleep. Yesterday I forgot about the new anxiety medication and took half a pill.
I’ve pretty much been a zombie all day, cloudy headed, tired, and somewhat irritable. I wouldn’t have such a strong reaction from sleeping pills alone. Was this from the two medications interacting?

It could have been from them interacting. My friend takes Lexapro and she felt a little off for the first two weeks. After that, she began to feel more normal. When I was on Celexa, it was the same way. I felt a bit dizzy until I got used to it. After that, it helped with the anxiety without the side effects. If the effects continue on after a couple of weeks, definitely tell the doctor. Also, if they increase in severity, call the doctor to let him know. I really am glad you are trying something for the anxiety. I do hope it begins to help. Much love.
yes, did your dr know u were taking sleeping pills? (if so he should have told u) the Lexapro should help u sleep, I would discontinue the other.
