Legally Changing My Name

So ive thought long and hard about changing my name legally ,because when I get my diploma GED and from college i dont want to feel dirty and shame every time I look at it, I want to put it on my wall and be proud of it, I hate looking at my ID ,or when I go to the doctors and have to write my name down, And when I fill out applications and ect ect. I want to feel comfortable with who I am. So if changing my name will do that then whats the problem, right?I know its not going to change what happend,but at least I wont be triggered every time I hear it. Its pathetic I know but its what is happening. And well I dont know if I can change that.
