leaves are falling

Hi everyone, It is a chilly and rainy day in North Carolina. We had a great time at the  Mrytle Beach. Our club took 10 cars and all of us won.  Good times.  It was held at Broadway at the Beach if any of you have ever been there.
One funny story about the beach. A rather tall manish looking woman passed by us and I told Steve I think that is a man dressed like a woman.  She had on UGG boots and short shorts, with very long hair. She passed on by and I didn't think anymore about her. Steve was sitting in his chair with the top over it and before I knew it this "lady" poked her head UP UNDER the chair top and said to him I can bearly see you under there!  "That thing sure does keep the bird shit off you".  Oh my gosh I nearly laughed in her face.  Steve said she was a little hairy.  LOL  I am talking about 5 inches from his face!!!  The couple beside us was laughing their butts off!!!!  At any rate we had a great time!
Now back to reality.  Steve took my cold and it has progressed into pneumonia. (never could spell that word)  We went to the doctor yesterday and he put him on a 10  day run of antibodics. Called the cancer doctor and he took him off Sutent for the rest of this cycle.  About a week early.  Has a nasty cough and is weak. A cold is so hard on him, I feel sorry for him. I guess if I get another cold I will sleep in the back bedroom to protect him.
Remembering all of you this morning.  God bless you all. (Meriel & David, I hope you can feel these prayers)

Welcome back Wanda....I am glad that you and Steve could enjoy yourselves so much at the beach. It sounds like that will be another wonderful memory to store away. I am sorry tough to hear that Steve has gotten so ill. I recall that I also occasionally forgot about M\'s fragile condition. It is difficult to live on \"pins and needles\" so much. There is a vacination for pneumonia that M used to always get. I don\'t know if Steve got that and the flu vacine, but you should talk to his doctor about this if he hasn\'t had it. I hope he recovers quickly. I wish I could have gone to the beach there with you....perhaps someday I will! Love to you both, Linda

Hello Wanda,

Sounds like y\'all had a wonderful time at the beach. Congratulations on all the cars winning. What fun! Did you ever figure out if it was a man or woman? hee! hee

I hate that Steve has a terrible cold and pneumonia. I will be praying that the antibiotics knock it out quickly. I\'m very cautious about anyone with a cold being around Ray. Due to his 20% kidney function in the one kidney, the doctors have warned us that he probably couldn\'t take any antibiotics. I\'m thankful that Steve is able to have them. Hopefully, he will kick this pneumonia and be well again soon.

Love Broadway at the Beach!

Sending lots of hugs,
Ingrid

Glad you had a good time. So sorry to hear Steve is sick. Pneumonia is no fun and doubly unfun for a cancer patient. Praying for a speedy recovery.

Dear Wanda,
It sounds as if you had so much fun away. You describe so well. I had an instant mind picture of the \"lady\" poking her head under Steve\'s chair top.
So sorry that Steve has pneumonia and I\'m hoping that he recovers quickly.
Love and hugs
