lately I have noticed more and more how paranoia has fueled my mind

a lot. It happens to me before I realize what it is - but more so recently - i have been awake to it and have

found myself spinning with paranoia and I've said to myself "I'm being paranoid again."

It's been a helpful thing and it's come to me at a time when I am facing another issue - or learning

about another idea - and that is that certain relationships - or relationships in general are complicated...

and that doesn't mean they're not valuable or important - it just is an acceptance of "what is".
I have found myself less triggered or upset by things lately that might have upset my applecart

in the past - but I am feeling more and more grateful for my relationships and all the dimensionality of them.

Gentle empathy, Mark. Paranoia just might be the baddest of my psycho bad girls. When she gets out of her cage, I can find heavily armed terrorists at a girl scout camp. Those pigtails ain't fooling me! ! !

My most important therapy tool for managing my paranoia is minding my pronouns. When I start using impersonal pronouns (they, she, he, it and sometimes we) without well-defined names, faces and/or concepts attached, I step up the guard on that paranoia beast.

Thanks Arfie, I’m really sorry you struggle with this too. Sending peace

Paranoia is a heavy thing to deal with, and in this day and age being vigilant but staying aware of when vigilance melts into paranoia is key. My kind has played tricks on me in the past, and I’ve learned when to shush and when to battle. Same goes for relationships. Peace to you all.
