Lazy 4th

My 4th of July was a Lazy Day, started the day with eggs and potato breakfast. Rudy and I vegged on the couch and watched TV most of the day, dozed off. Dakota our dog must of got bitten by something, she had a swollen area, and cried when she walked, so we kept an eye on her all day, she's doing much better, swelling went down, still a little sore. We went to the market and got all the fixings to BBQ, we BBQ'd hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob and chili beans. We watched the fireworks from our front porch, then off to bed.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. AMEN
