Lawyer Results
Today I met with my lawyer. It's going to be expensive ($1,300) but he knows what he's doing. He used to be on the opposite side of the lawsuits- he used to be a debt collection lawyer. Now he fights for the people who are being sued. So he knows what he's doing and all the tricks of the trade. He said he knew the company that was suing me and that they are nice to his clients. I hope so. He said he could either eliminate the debt or get it lowered to where I can pay it. I do need to get a job. I want to be able to pay him off faster. I'm paying him $65 a month for 20 months.
I couldn't sleep last night. I kept waking up and not being able to settle down. I was just so nervous about this whole lawyer thing. So I came home and took a 3 hour nap. I'm still tired and I hope I can fall asleep easily tonight. I'm tired now... I think I'm going to call it an early night.

I hope he can help you The lawyers around here want their money up front and then most of the time, they don\'t do what they promise you they are going to do. I hope you get some sleep and I also hope that you and Geo can both go to your mom\'s.
glad you think this lawyer will do the job, though expensive. lawyers here don\'t get paid until the case is done.i can just imagine not being able to sleep, talk about nervous and anxiety. hopefully you can calm down your mind and get the sleep you need. hugss

i\'d go with ELIMINATE THE DEBT. the whole thing is ridiculous anyway. what are they going to do take the whole country to court, and then the whole country will declare bankruptsy? i know of a bankruptsy lawyer up here who is only $500 and she will wipe out ALL of your debt as well. then you would owe NOTHING. if you look in your free newspaper down by you, there should be lawyers like that down there as well? xxoo
