Last Day at my Mom's
Today was my last full day at my mom's house. I had a good trip, except for that fight. I got to spend a bunch of quality time with my mom, Tracy and Joy. During the day when my mom and Tracy were at work, I would sit with Joy and watch TV with her and listen to her talk. She loves to talk! She would talk about when her kids were young, her friends that she used to have, and all that kind of stuff. I just sat there and listened for the most part. With my mom, we would go to the internet cafes and play games on the computers there. It was pretty fun. I don't like going there too much, though, because it gets expensive and I worry about my mom spending all this money on me. I know she doesn't have a lot, and so it worries me. I don't have a lot of money either, so I can't pay for myself. You play the games and sometimes you get money back. It's like slot machines with internet phone cards. It's fun, like I said, but I'm not that good at it. I don't have good luck with things like that, but I give the people around me good luck.
I rode my mom's bike today for exercise. Boy, was that hard! I'm so slow on the bike I can almost walk faster. I know I can walk farther than I can bike, believe it or not. It's just so much strain on my weak quadriceps. But that's why I rode the bike today, to get stronger quads. My butt hurts from the seat, and I have a feeling that tomorrow I'm going to be sore too. That means I have to sit on the trains and buses with a sore booty. Hopefully my butt feels better tomorrow. My mom said that the more you ride it, the better the seat feels. I guess I should go around more riding bikes. I have a stationary bike in the gym in my apartment complex, so I can practice on there. I want to have strong quads when I go to LA because where my stepdad lives there's nothing but hills that I would have to walk. I want to keep up with my walking when I go and see him, but it's going to be hard. It's anything but the flat surface that you get here in FL. I used to have quads of steel, and now I have no quads left at all. So I want to practice with the bike, since there are no hills for me to walk in Miami.
I leave tomorrow morning around 10. That means I can get a good night's sleep tonight. I have to wake up kinda early in the morning for me, around 8:30. If I go to sleep by 10:30 I should be good with 10 hours of sleep. It's already 9:30, so I have to finish this journal and pack up my laptop for tomorrow. I should be home by 9, 9:30ish. I should be able to get a good night's sleep tomorrow as well, and wake up on time to get to work on Friday. I wasn't looking forward to going to work on Friday, but I just have one day to work and then a three day weekend. I'm actually looking forward to time off, since I haven't gotten a lot of sleep while I've been here. I've been getting lots of quantity, but not too much quality. I normally sleep well when I'm here, but I have needed more sleep. I got 12 hours last night, from 11pm to 11am, but I woke up a couple times in the middle of the night. I had trouble falling asleep, so I had to take some klonopin. It's only the second time I've had to use it since I've been here. I get tired really easily and fall asleep fast.
Food today was good... I'm in my calorie range. I had spaghetti for breakfast, strawberry shortcake for lunch, and chicken and dumpling soup for dinner. Tomorrow I'm going to be over my calories on the train, but that's okay with me. It's my last day of vacation, and I know I'm going back to my diet on Friday. I got some cookies and crackers for my train trip home, and I have spaghetti to go as well. I have my baby carrots and ranch dressing, so I'm all set for my trip home. I got some drink mixes too, for the water bottles I will have. I have lemon tea and fruit punch. Both of them are diet, so I can drink them and not have to worry about the high calorie green tea with honey that I normally drink. I drink a lot on the train, so I have something low calorie. Stress today was low... the only thing that stressed me out today was that I broke a glass in the kitchen during dinner. It was an accident, but I still feel bad for it. I'm still not sure why the cutting board fell onto the glass, but oh well. I'm trying to get over it still, I still feel bad for it. Mood today has been good... I liked spending time with Joy and my Mom, and had a good day overall. I enjoyed my bike ride, as sore as my butt is. I had trouble steering the bike and kept on going on the grass. At least I didn't fall into the street. I will have to practice more when I get home. I'm sure going to have fun doing it!

So sad that your vacation is coming to an end. As for quads....check out Sparkpeople exercises to see which ones work the quads!
Have a safe trip back home!
what a all around great vacation! sparkpeople is a good idea for exercises, but squats are a grear quad firmer and leaning against the lower, your back to the wall and pretend to sit down and hold it. that really works.the bike is great, i rode an exercise bike all the time and have an old bike at home.
