Knee Problems
Today my knees hurt for no reason. I tried going for a short walk to try and get them to warm up, but it didn't work. If I still feel bad tomorrow I will take it off. I have to let my body heal. I've been pushing myself with the aerobics and trying to volunteer. I called on Thursday but they said they didn't need me. That made me feel bad. I want to come help and you are telling me no? The only thing I can think of is that I had problems with the head nurse in Urgent Care. That, and I can only stay for an hour or two before my feet give out. I don't like volunteering there a lot, but it's something to do with my days and give back to the community. I will call them on Monday to see if they need me. Hopefully I can cover my boss, Daisy, for her lunch break. It's an hour and I can do it after I do my aerobics class.
I got my new FitBit today in the mail... it got lost in Indy and was supposed to be delivered by December 23rd. I called them last week and told them I never got it, so they sent me a new one. Find out today I got a box and it was the lost FitBit! They already sent the replacement, so I will have 3 FitBits. One is going to my mom, and the other to a good friend. I like the one I have now... it's a newer model. Hopefully it works. I'm surprised that for such an expensive gadget ($100) it would have less problems. I have a friend with the wristband model and she's been having trouble with hers, too. Oh well. They have great customer service and have no problem replacing broken ones.

it is likely the aerobics classes have hurt your knee, what type of aerobics do you do? I use a heating pad on my knee and hip, and I just read that for arthritis pain the best thing is exercise, well, easier said then done. try to not take it personally about them not needing you, though I know it is hard and I am like that too. you are so good to want to give back and help. wow, fitbit sure does deliver on there products, how nice of you to share, one day I would love to get one. many hugs and hope you can walk today.
good to know they have great customer service. makes me want to buy one. i bought a pedometer awhile ago at target, a few months ago i think, but its still in the box. really need to do something about that.
maybe you can walk dogs and visit the cats at the local pound. it would really be WONDERFUL for the animals, and two hours per week or per day, the pound would be thrilled for the help. if you do cat room, you can actually sit most of the time. also LIBRARIES have volunteers as well. you might enjoy that, there are lots of free movies and lectures etc., at libraries plus the computers are there for use as well.
I\'m back at the information desk. I cover for my boss\'s lunch. I like it there as long as I don\'t have to answer the phones.
