kind of dealing with who I am or maybe how I am

my time alone definitely has me parcing molecules to get

through the day, deal with my feelings and keep responsible about things, that if I were to

go with my spirit, I definitely would say 'i don't really want to do that'

the orientation to processing my experience - the way I need to -

makes me socially awkward at times - it takes me some time

to warm up to social company - perhaps it's a lot like that for some -

my doc says i am an 'introvert' -

c'est la vie!

I'm doing alright -

Introvert isn’t any kind of weakness, in my own mind.

Sometimes I wonder how much of my introvert self is an evolution of life with mental illness versus how much is just plain old me. I find myself wanting to break through the barriers of introversion as a way to gather strength. Stuff to ponder.

Hope you’ve had a lovely Sunday!

Girl howdy, I wish being a natural extrovert could save me from social anxiety and awkwardness. In my own living fact, being a natural extrovert only gives me more opportunity to prove just how socially awkward I really am. I call it, "Foot in Mouth Disease." I carry a salt shaker in hopes of making my foot taste a bit better before I stick it in my mouth. Maybe if I make the shaker holes a bit bigger?

Whatever your nature, loving yourself just the way God made you is a challenge. 'Tis human nature to want whatever it is we don't have.
