Kind of a Sad Weekend
This weekend is kind of sad for me. My mother passed away 20 yrs. ago yesterday. Today, was my son's birthday. He would have turned 50. He was born Jan. 13, 1968. He died in a car wreck 13 yrs. ago, July 6th 2005. I played my mom's favorite son on the piano today at my church. It's title is "Till The Storm Passes By." When mom got to where she could no longer play the piano due to arthritis in her hands, she would always asked me to go to her piano and play this song for her. Memories like these are a treasure.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. It is always hard when special days trigger memories of those we lost. Hang tight to the good memories and knowing you will meet again one day. That is what gets me through this. Hugs
These memories can be so painful Peewee...… Have you ever read the book The Shack..... It's one of the best books that I've ever read...… It really brought me some peace of mind as it's a story but based on the Bible.... Big hug....xo
It's so hard not to be sad at these remembrances and focus on the happiness we had while they were in our lives. It's always harder on those of us left behind. You are such a good and kind person and always offering encouragement to others...know that they would be smiling down on you. Big Hugs!!!
Thank you all.
