Kids are a pain in the a$$
While driving matt to school tonight he said he forgot his phone while we were discussing what time he thought I should come pick him up. When we got to the parking lot of the school I handed him my cell and said ok call me if your running late to which he says "I don't need your phone stop treating me like a baby" Really? You know what... the hell with you I thought how friggin ungrateful!!!! I was so pissed how dare you it's not my damn fault that you are such a self centered pain in the ass that got his car taken away because of a POOR choices I said I'm just lending you my phone how is that treating you like a baby? whatever Lately I find myself getting more resentful towards him I don't resent all the money this addiction has cost me or all the worry or sleepless nights or running around to rehabs hospitals now school but i do resent his attitude he should have some remorse for putting me through hell yet No he actually gets mad at me. Wow Sometimes he really makes me angry!

Don\'t get mad and don\'t take another hit. How? By not assuming responsibility for his actions. Under normal conditions, handing over your phone would be accompanied by a \"thank you\", but it seems he is trying to get [back to] normal, not there yet... Oh Dee, his sticking with staying sober is such a blessing, allbeit tiring for the family.. There are good days, bad days, but at the end of the day what counts is that he remains loyal to his recovery and you, as a family and as individuals, to yours.
