keeping engaged 'out there'
I am home from work, a morning of work where I had to look at things while interacting with others. Interacting with my coworkers was a positive time this morning. It usually is for the most part but I realized in contrast with my struggles and kneejerk reactions 'to fear others' and have apprehension there was a part of me that started to see the choice I had to either dip into that blind 'fear' (I'll call it) or choosing to see the positive aspect of how we all were....working together - joking around...supporting each other...doing our jobs.
and I saw that others were too...feeling pretty good...it seemed.
I came back to my place and I kind of realized when I am home alone and live in my own definition - I can dip into fear - and anxiety about connecting out there - and I know I have
to keep that positive mindset and knowing that it's real important to keep engaged.
Last night, I felt such apprehension about going to work - but I strong armed myself..and said "You are going" ... And so I did it.. :) right on!
In terms of how things were at work, I am reminded of a saying where
"We Don’t See Things As They Are, We See Them As We Are" and I think it's a really good point.
