keep the change reflections for today

Today while reading, the reading is from Psalm 8:3-9; "When i consider your heavens, The work of your fingers, the moon and stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?  You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings adn crowned him with glory and honor.  you made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swin the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!"
To me, the passage means that we should be thankful for god blessing us with the things we have.  he has given them all to us.
It applies to me, because I am thankful for the wife that he did provide for me, the children that we made together, and the fact that he is forgiving enough to forgive my sins against him.  I am very thankful that he has guided me thus far to get the help and change myself to better serve him and my family.
The challanges that await me for today, is that i need a new stable job.  I need a day job.  I also still challange myself to change and 'keep the change.'  I am also challanged with showing Sarah that the promises  i make from here out are not going to be empty as they have been.  These are sincere promises that will be kept and upheld for my family from this day forward.
I will respond to them how i have been lately.  I will continue to search for jobs and place applications.  i will also continually pray and lay down my strife and give it to god.  i Will continue to try to show my wife that this change is different, even though she does not want to hear my empty promises.  From this day forward, i will not promise something that cannot or will not come true.
My guiding thought for today will be being thankful.  I am forever thankful to god for introducing my wife and I.  She is my everything and i will be thankful for her being placed into my life.
I am continually trusting in god for continued guidance, support, and a shoulder to cry on.  I trust that god will walk me down the path i need to 'kill' the old me.  i hope and trust in god, that Sarah will be my wife in the end.  If she is not, then I will trust in god's decision about it.
