just words
I am here writing things down because everyday is such a challenge. Today, I spent time with Mom bird watching. Then I grilled out hot dogs for lunch.Hung out reading but she talked most of the way. Is frustrated about my sister. Same ole thing there.
It is tiring for me. I have feelings inside that are from my old self...not the new improved me that keeps my life balanced well. I hate my old ways. I wasnt sober, could not count on a decent thought. Needed therapy. Until I got it just was a tangent seeker. 16 years later am proud of myself and happy to be away from a type of thinking that is destructive.
Where we grow up shapes our thinking. But it does not have to stay that way.
I am a product of such change and never thought It would be compromised.
Now that said this, I see why there has been so much frustration.

I know that you have worked so hard to be healed and emotionally
whole, and at peace, and it\'s challenging for it to now be a struggle again.
Is there a support group for caregivers that you can participate in?
You need to give yourself credit for what you are goin thru - pastors
have a hard time dealing with their aging dementia/mean irrational parent...
Anyone would and does. You need the support of those who \"get\" what
you are saying. Find those resources - YOU DESERVE IT. !!!
Hey Buddy, good to see you. Yes, I do need an in town group. One that deals with the parental issues...they include a lot of weird stuff for caregivers who are children.
Thanks for stopping for a few words. They always encourage me.
