just what I made out of today. Home from work now.
it's been coming to me - as a master of ambivalence in life :),
that sometimes you just gotta be what you're asked to be in life.
does that make sense?
It's a comforting thought in a way.

I just got home - and that thought (all morning) that life is asking me to be certain things to survive
has been there and I can do this and I am humbly grateful. The choices where I fumble with indecision
is sometimes made for me at times by those around me. Sometimes it's about going where you're wanted?
Does that make sense? As if you're called to do something and because you're chosen, you rise to the ocassion.

There are times in life when we are placed where we are needed, and we may not understand why. There are also situations when we're asked to do things, and we willingly step up. It's very true that when we fail to make choices in our lives, life and others may step in and make the choices for us. Personally, I believe we're called to be the captains of our ship. Rather than allowing ourselves to be tossed around by the waves, we chart a course and are responsible for doing our best to keep the ship afloat until we reach our ultimate destination. (My apologies for the ship analogy; it's just what came to mind.)
