just went for short walk

feeling like I have gotten too dependent on my therapist. I was feeling like

I wanted to call her earlier - as if she could save me. I have to find my own answers

in life. She helps and has helped me become healthier and more social.

I know, though, that if I am sad or feeling melancholy- I need to decide what I am

going to do about it and how. Like Arfie said, pain is a reality - and you've got a choice here.

I know I am disabled in a lot of ways. If someone along the way wants to point that out to me

then that is really all about them. Humbly and happily - making my way today. Struggling a bit - needed

some fresh air - so I took a walk on a hiking path behind my apartment.

One step at a time in the fullness of time
Tears will draw the outlines
Hopes will color the shades in between
When you feel the sun shining through

Nobody gets to be your entire village, not even the bestest shrinks in the shrink wrap factories. It takes a village to live a healthy life. Let her be but a single door in your village. Handicaps welcome. We's all just getting by with a little help from our friends.

For what it's worth
My scariest days are the ones where I earnestly believe I have no handicaps. Suicide by cop in progress. Collateral damage acceptable.
