Just wanted to say hi

Hi everyone,
so my $#@?!#&! laptop totally crashed. And the timing..just before Ed's angel date when I need my DS and my friends so I had it repaired. One hundred dolloars later even though I have 2 years of spywear protection. They, (the spywear company) doesn't cover what happened to my laptop. You gotta love it - they got us coming & going, lol.
I had a dream that Ed is surrounded by flowers and angels....it was comforting. Just what I imagine for all our children...surrounded in beauty and peace.
Tomorrow in honor of Ed's life my grandchildren, DIL, ex-husband (Ed's Dad) and several of Ed's friends are meeting us at the cememtery to bring flowers, cards etc and take a few moments say a few words and prayers and then we will gather back at my house for a brunch. (I am very busy preparing food today so I am not too sad - too busy at the moment to feel too much).
On Tuesday, Ed's actual angel date I took the day off work. That night Ed's children, my DIL and Ken & I will have a quiet family dinner. I am making Ed's favorites in his honor. Lasagna and salad; fudge pie for dessert.
When I begin to feel awful I remember what my grief counselor told me. That "the worst has already happened." I will try & focus on the love and the years Ed was here with us. (I'll try anyway...) but truly all of us have lived through the worst already.
Thank you all for always being here for me. Friends in the truest sense.
Love to all, Linda

I am traveling so it is hard to keep up but I wanted to say that I will be thinking of you today, tomorrow. When those dates appear, our thoughts and dreams send us back to good times and bad. Do your best to make them the good times. Direct those thoughts to love and laughter with Ed. You are fortunate to have friends and family that will be there to support you. Remember, you do have many blessings. Love, Peggy

I bought a new iMac, thinking I\'d love it....so far I\'m ready to throw it in the trash! Although my office PC had a complete crash, losing EVERYTHING, I\'d still take a PC over a Mac. I think I\'ll give it to Torrey when he gets out and buy myself another new computer. That will make 3 this year!! Yep, they\'ve got us hooked that\'s for sure. I remember telling Kala she shouldn\'t spend so much time on the computer....now here I am, on it more than she was!! LOL!

Tight, understanding hugs as you do what you need to honor your amazing son and get through this painful time. Yes, the worst has happened, but these significant days will always bring us to a place of quiet agony....with a few screaming fits mixed in for good measure...

Take care of you and know you are loved by us all~~Teri
