just waking up
well, i woke up, took a shower and I am getting ready to go
down to service. I had an altercation with the elder yesterday.
He has forbiddent me from serving liturgy until further notice.
Whoops!
So I got up and made my bed and I've got the radio on.
Things are good though. Instead going out and spending money
on a coffee, I will wait for coffee with the sisters after the morning
bare-bones service.
No complaints here, just doing my thing. Keep on keeping on.

I have been overworked lately due to human conflict and many battling egos at large, but always good to check in and see how life is with Mark at the monastery. I can relate in some facet as I explore nonprofit work, though it is gravitating toward some Buddhist perspectives in it all.
I hear you Nikki, and thanks for the message! I was telling my cousin’s husband, who is a therapist, that sometimes I seek any port in a storm. It’s really true and he agreed. I’ve been attracted to Buddhism as well.
The monastery is just my choice of ‘platform’ to deal with the craziness of life day in and day out.
