Being alone can be really stressful.

I tend to eat, drink or watch documentaries or news

to help soothe... self soothe.

I can get really thrown off track of making goals for myself

and then get lost in a show or online stuff in just total distraction.

it becomes easier to distract myself...

I enjoy time by myself. My wife and I are both loaners unless we are both with each other. I guess that’s why we work so well together.

I get lost on the internet also.

Mark, I get the numbing out....sucks living alone....Chachi is great company but she only comes out to 'eat' and chat to tell me I Want Food...as for humans, I talked to one person last week and didn't leave my home...hope the upcoming week will bring what you need to live your best life!

Yes, it’s tough to feel lost in solitude sometimes. I try to go for small outings just to be among people, but it’s just sucked during this pandemic. I try to keep a variety of things on my loner time plate. Movies, documentaries, tv, journaling, online here, online Facebook etc friends catch up, crossword puzzles, cleaning, decor projects, walks. Geneology research. There are other things I want to take up or dream of taking up. I guess I’m just trying to constantly reinvent boredom in solitude. Big hugs your way.
