just saying

It does get better. I can see tiny shreds of me emerging and life growing before my eyes. This is not an easy thing, especially for someone who lacks patience. I've begun to focus on others and their needs and hurts and struggles. Yes, someone has it worse than me.
Yes, I can love me while dishes pile up in the sink.
I can tell people how I really feel.
I can shower, dress, put make up on and be presentable to the world.
I can get through this.
I can remember the good times we had.
I can remember the bad times we had and that we made it through them.
I can be the best mom I can be. (not perfect, but me)
I can say "no". there is a big one I've been putting off.
I can make sound decisions.
I can forgive myself.
I can find myself and I can accept the changes I am going through. They aren't all bad. Some have been quite helpful. Healing as a matter of fact.
I sit back and quietly watch my next move......
