Just sad and in pain

Here it is nightfall again and I am so sad and having a bunch of pain in my stomach and back. I am having what might be a sad day because I miss my husband so much it just hurts at night. I still scream and wonder why me. Nowadays, all I want to do is to be left alone even getting rid of my roommates is a joy but not a long one. I just don't have the energy like I used to I just want to do what is needed around my house and take care of my pets. As for a social life I do not want one or need one.

The grief journey is truly a challenging one. I am truly sorry you are having such a rough time. I totally understand the lack of energy. I do what I need to do when I am up to doing it. Alone time during grief is not necessarily bad. It is such a emotional rollercoaster we need time to nuture ourself and catch our breath. Use the community here to vent, for support or whatever you need there are some truly incredible people here who will help you through the dark days. God bless. Gerald

There have been ALOT of dark days and no light days. I try to be cheery to people it is just at night when I hear my roommates laughing and carrying on that makes it hurt even more.

That is totally understandable. For them life carries on as usual but for you your life has been blown apart and you are left in tremendous pain. I wish I had a quick fix but this grief is a long tough process. Over time the pain does subside but whilel you are in the grip of it it is a really dark place. I went from a point where I was in so much pain I wished I was dead to a point where I put one foot in front of the other and cherish the memories of my spouse. Yes there are still good and bad days but the pain is less intense. Sending you a big hug and a promise things will
gradually improve. Gerald
