just processing
I went out today and went to the Starbucks. The same seat is open most times and so I like it and sit there next to the window. Many times that I go there, there is a man in the same corner with a bible and a notepad and pen. Copying down versus and studying. I get it.
I am trying to find my peace today as well, just processing what I did, how angry and crazed I got in order to get going and now just breathing and musing - and trying to be ok with just the prior crazed state and now vagueness and quiet and peace.
I feel my mother is close to me today. She has been gone 24 years now but I feel her spirit in me and I understand her a lot more than ever. I can't call anybody right now - but I guess the processing is just teaching
me to have a little patience with the process of life. I feel eager to talk it out but I am alone and so I write here.
Therapy is on Friday...and so patience and placid contentment are here to mollify. Will get back to watching the tv,
maybe I will text my sister about Mom.

Silent you stand on the edge of my sight
No word do you speak to explain your great might
The further you stand
The closer you stay
The less that you speak
The more that you say
Even with all the unforgiven spots I have toward my parents (works in progress), I am beginning to believe it is true that the older we get the smarter our parents get.
