Just keep goiing

Haven't been too busy lately, but have been doing things. Just been cold out, and i'm in money watching mode. Waiting for work to start on the 15th, so that will be good. Got my room painted again. Looks nice and clean. covered up some of the last remnants from Sheldon. Really made a mess thon at the end. I just finished everything and had the roller in one hand, the pan of paint in the other, and was trying to open the door and the pan of paint spilled all over the floor and my blankets. My foot was in it, and it was just a mess that seemed endless. Had some on the rug. I started swearing and getting mad, but then I remembered that i always tell people to just deal with the situation. I had a friend that used to get into fits with this kind of stuff, and it used to get me angry. I'de tell him to shut up, and just deal with it. So that's what I did. Put away the panic mode, and just started cleaning, and it was alright. It got all cleaned, and everything is good. I didn't have to give up my peace because of it. That's a good thing. Taught me that it's really us that causes our unhappiness, and lose of peace. We justify it because of the situation and blame that or people for the way we feel, but it's not the situation or the people that causes our discomfort. It's our reaction to whatever is going on. We can still decide to keep our hapiness, and just deal with whatever. There's always going to be problems that come up everyday. Some big, some small, but they are just a part of life. It's even good to have problems because they teach us tollerance, how to make decisions on how we deal with them, patience, and how not to get angry and lose our happiness. I was at church on Sunday and they talked about thanking God for EVERYTHING. That can be hard when we face things we consider bad, but there is gold in those things. We can learn the precious things that can enrich our daily lives. Thank you so much God for that Lesson. It did help me learn. I learned to look beyond my emotions, and feelings, to something better. The spiritual gifts that give me serenity. Thank you.
