Dear friends, I think I upset some of you when I said I would like to kick Steve! just joking everyone. He is a 245 pound man and I am a not so big grannie. I do love him very much and those of you who know me best know that. So no more butt kicking jokes. I know I am blessed beyond measure. We cherish every day together.

Dear Wanda, Anyone who has read your journals, would know how deep your love is for Steve. I always appreciate the way you are open about your thoughts and you look to the lighter side in the midst of such a heavy burden you bear. Please don\'t change anything about you. Wanda, sometimes it is difficult to remember each widowed circumstance and in your case you are not widowed so when you refer to kicking his hiney as something you can do rather than think about doing it may make one stop and wonder. I personally can understand, I have often felt the same way, I love my husband but sometimes he can be so stubborn and pigheaded that I just want to get his attention.. I guess it just maybe a southern thing. I would never actual hurt Geff and I am positive that the thought of you doing anything that was NOT totally loving and kind to Steve would be possible. I personally have never had to kick Ron\'s behind...but I made sure he believed I could and would...prior to those vows almost 44 years ago. I keep him in line using my \"wits\" only, which he would say I only have \"half\" of. LOL, Vernell
