Just had a chest x-ray

I just did a walk-in x-ray for my chest to see if I had pneumonia. My lungs are clear! Grateful, I'm hoping the amoxicillin will knock out my cough and sneezing and big mucous production.

Anyways, I got into the radiology office and put my name down on a list and waited for an hour or less.

As I was sitting in the waiting room I had no internet or cellular reception. It forced me to be conscious of myself as I sat there thinking about things. I felt aggressive and gnarling inside as I sat there. Then I looked around and thought we all have this kind of energy (go go stuff) and yet in knowing it for each of us, we have to decide how we're gonna be with each other in a communal space as we wait there. It was a thought that was like a mental weight was taken off my shoulders and beautiful spiritual door opening. I could appreciate the folks there in a new way. I marvelef at how many people are now in the world. The goods and services in this country really serve us all like a well oiled machine.

I am about to go down to church to help with meal prep. This recent journal really inspires me.
It gives me a self reference...like seeing all people around me and knowing we are all in the same
boat and so I started to evaluate myself with the idea of 'well this is what I am doing with my time'.
Does that make sense? I feel grounded and not fractured and balanced.

Feeling grounded is more important than we realize!

Sometimes when I become overwhelmed with my own thoughts I have to stop thinking! and practice just listening to what I can hear, feeling the ground under me, paying attention to what I can see and finding gratitude for what is around me.

There's always something to be grateful for!
