Just for a moment

I hear a voice and turn to look, I see a back and a walk and the hair, and just for a moment, I think oh my its  KARINA. My heart skips a beat and leaps and then  it drops to my feet.   No she is not here anymore. Oh too just see her and talk to her one more time.

I was sitting in the office of one of my therapists and there was a young woman about my daughter\'s age sitting near me. She had the same nose, the same blue eyes, the same jaw line, her hair was short and streaked but otherwise she could have been April\'s sister. I asked her name. It\'s\"Kelly\", that\'s April\'s sister\'s name (her father\'s first daughter). Coincidence?

We will see our beloved in others now and then. It is very, very hard. God bless you.

Oh God, I have had those moments. My heart drops when I realize that my precious Jackie is not coming back. When will all this stop I ask myself. Never, No amount of drugs or therapy is going to take away this endless feeling of emptiness, lonelyness, heartache and pain. I\'m just praying that in time it will lessen.

This will happen many times throughout our lives....I even see young children who remind me of when Brandon was little....towheaded with clear bright blue eyes....and I am there all over again as a mom with my little guy...just for a moment...and then reality slaps me back down. Yes, that is the sad part of loss and grief....it never ends. I am eagerly wishing my life away so that I can have forever peace in the company of my son again. I pray for peace as I breathe, in the meantime....for you, too, dear friend. Love, dale..brandon\'s mom
