just feeling so anxious

I was feeling anxious and so I took another walk. The only walk that seemed worthy enough

was one with a reward at the end of it. So I went to the bakery again and bought a personal sized

banana cream pie and then walked home with it. I am sitting in front of the TV and am just feeling

so anxious. For some reason just moving forward is a goal I can't commit to. I will try to lift my

hand weights/dumbells. Sometimes when I am anxious the effort that would be the remedy seems to

be like 'insult to injury.' I just get real fatigued feeling. I will try to lift weights. Venting here

helps me just write it out and move on. Peace and Namaste, Mark

Gentle hug Marky...... Anxiety really sucks..... What about some grounding techniques..... They really do help

Look around at your most comfortable room and describe the room in detail to yourself.... Colours, furniture.... how the furniture makes you feel so if it's your bed is it comfortable what sheets and covers do you have on it... talk about it out loud and get descriptive and talk about everything in the room

This helps me a great deal.... xo

I got a lot done today and then when I had done so much, I couldn't find what else to do and so I started to spin.
I became very lonely and then anxiety happened. So now a good deal of the day has passed - me spending my time
emailing and posting - kind of randomness - not such a great way to fill the day - anyways - just going to take a beat and get on with the rest of the day. Peace

If I understand, it is what it is. If I don't understand, it is what it is. ~Zen proverb

Simple acceptance is a wonderful thing in Arf World. I don't really need to understand my anxiety any more than I understand the bump on my nose. It is what it is, whether I understand ^it^ or knot. When I don't waste my energy agonizing over the whys, whats and wherefores, it is easier to stay on track with more beneficial pursuits and to be gentle with myself and my world on the days I am too anxious, or whatever, to stay on track with much of anything.
