just came back
I just came back from a nice walk at the park.
Things are good. :-)
Got my meds ready for tonight - and put out my clothes and shoes
for work in the morning in the bathroom.
Played with Blue a little bit - he needs more playtime.
I have to say the more I care for him - the more I understand my
commitment to him. His only point of contact for EVERYTHING in the world
is me. So bare essentials - check! But all the extras of love and attention I
am really aware of and must be generous with him. It's my firm belief in him.
Ok, going to go play again.
Keep on keeping on and best,
Mark

as usual I've run the gamut of what I planned to do.
Been spinning new helpful ideas since about life in general and my pattern.
I also am realizing that I definitely need to be doing a lot to do to feel
any sense of satisfaction. It may not be the healthiest of needs though.
When I was free to do whatever I liked, my need sent me into a psychiatric condition
in a major way. So where do I draw the line on satisfactory action - when in fact
I tend to go overboard - what's a guy to do? magoo.
I suppose on a level I guess it's always something to grapple with for all of us.
We have full days of work at times - and sometimes we need more sleep and more
rest than others - and sometimes we will be badgered into melancholia by our need.
I don't know....I mean I am doing ok but I look forward to talking to my therapist tomorrow
just to relay the things I am talking about. She's so great. Really feel lucky.
I have to remember that a lot of what I want to do can't be done because of
the pandemic - so I guess I am kind of forgetting about that.
Talking it out here helps.. Perhaps I can use this rock in the road can teach me to hurdle jump! :)
Hope you guys are having a good day... !
Adjusting to the pandemic has been an unruly process for many. And in other places even tougher restrictions - it’s really tripped up society and cultural practices, too! Not minimizing your feelings.... perspective usually helps me frame the things that I’m feeling most isolated in.
I’m glad you’ve been having a good day. Xoxo
Thanks Nikki!
