Just Another Joey Pop Off
I'm so angry, yet again, at Joey. I don't even understand why I'm still in this relationship? Honestly, why haven't I left??
Joey is on a lay off. Three weeks. As a side job I set him up delivering pizza three evenings a week. Other then that, he is off work. Today he was off.
I worked 2-6pm. Or I was supossed too. Then someone called in and I ended up there until 8pm. 6 hours, not a big deal really, except I work in a little shoe box, all by myself, with nothing to do. 6 hours of staring at my fingers, dealing with a customer that was bitchy about gas prices going up, stare out the window, deal with a customer that's bitchy about us not having her brand of cigarettes, stare at the ceiling tiles, deal with a customer who's cross about the oil selection. You get the idea.
It feels like eternity. Joey had Marlow. Oh, first I should say that before I went to work I cleaned up Joey's dishes and dirty laundry, then I got Marlow dressed and set up in a clean diaper.
So on the way home Joey tells me he is going out to his friends place. Okay, not the best thing I've heard all day, but not worth a shit fit. If he want's to go out, let him. It's time for Marlow to go to bed anyways and then I can relax.
I go to get Marlow out of the car and realize she has ketchup in her eyebrows and in her hair. Plus, it's streaked all over her shirt and it's under her fingernails! So now I realize I have to fit in a bath before bed.
Then I go inside. There are toys from kingdom come and back. And that wasn't the worst part. The kitchen! There were dishes piled so high that they were starting to fall. The counters were coated in flour, there was dried on ketchup on everything. We have this stupid stoneware crap that we got as a present, and it's a pain in the ass to get clean, let alone scrub stuff off of. I could of put it in the dishwasher, except when I text him at 3pm to tell him I forgot to turn on the dishwasher, could he? He decided he couldn't, so that was full of dirty dishes too. There was dog vomit on the floor, two garbage bags full of garbage leaning up against the wall. There is popcorn all over the living room rug, and these tiny gold craft star things are spread down the hallway.
And what does he say 'oh just leave it, I'll get to it when I get home.'
Ya, I'm gonna leave that, and even more believable is that you are going to get to it when you get home! I'm not stupid, if I would of been able to miraculously hold off on the war zone, it would of been waiting for me when I got home.
So I started cleaning, and he stood there and said 'well what needs to be done'. Really? What needs to be done? I was pissed so I told him to just leave me alone, I was so mad I felt like throwing up. He stood there the whole time I cleaned and repeatedly asked me what was wrong. I didn't justify his stupidity with an answer. In the end he left.
I managed to get Marlow to bed just after 9pm, the kitchen is clean though I need to mop the floor as there are spots of ketchup everywhere. I had to vaccuum. I even scrubbed the house yesterday as I had guests!
Then he texts me to tell me that he loves me and that even though my mood swings are getting worse he wont stop loving me. I text back that he may love me, but he doesn't respect me and I'm sick of it. And as for my mood swings, if he paid attention he would realize that they happen according to his behavior!
Oh, and he cleaned out the hall closet, but when I went to plug in the central vac(the plug is in our guest room) I noticed that there was a heaping box of all the shit he took out of the closet just shoved inside the door. Oh yay, more work for me. Just what I wanted.
I'm so tired of being the only one in the relationship to work at anything.
