just a heads up about the cats...it's not happening now
I just came from the apartment leasing office.
They said what is a major extra rent for me to have
animals plus a huge deposit. Ah well, not meant to be.
I live close by to the shelter and will visit them often.

Does that mean the call to be a volunteer companion at the shelter just got louder? That really is a valuable position and can even bleed over into helping prospective families find the ultimate match for them.
