June 30, 2020 - A Thought
It's always "try harder" with us. I feel like I've tried so hard for so long I don't have much left to give. How about "try smarter"? Instead of trying the same blockheaded methods over and over, putting less effort into a different/perhaps more difficult but more honest approach. I'd think in the long run it'd be less total effort. Science.

Agree 1000%! I used to teach all business levels how to work smarter not harder. What I found is the higher up one goes, the less connected to the reality of the workplace they are. (imho, trying to teach higher ups is like trying to herd cats & no offense to any cats). Sadly most adults are stuck in their 'ways' and are terrified of change. Please always hold on to your abilities to think outside the box and question the status quo. I will probably drive the stuck-in-their-tiny-box-adults crazy, but it will serve you well and maybe even help a few minds to open back up.
