My 18 year old cousin just anounced to the family that she is pregnant. She seems to be excited for the pregnancy which is great, but she seems to acting a little niave about the situation. She's unemployed and living in her car, plus my family is not stupid we can do the math...It's not her boyfriends. Apparently he can't count, or he doesn't care. If it's because he doesn't care, then that's even more good news. But how does two unemployed, homeless kids who barely know eachother make it work? I hope they do. Just had to write about it. Sorry for me boring journals.

Hey its your journal - not a bodice ripper of a novel. It does not matter how interesting we find your journal the journal is for your benefit not our entertainment.

thats just what women do... i think its the hormones that come with pregnancy. very few that ive ever met, from all over the world, regret having the child. even if they dont have contact with the father, or regret when or how it happened. theyre still happy that it happened. i think shell be alright. maturity comes with parenthood. its what turns a lot of people around and gives them direction... good chance that itll be the same for her. i dont know about the guy... nothing really happens for him. if hes not prepared for it now, i have doubt he will ever be.

I don\'t agree with poor. many women I know were stunned at their pregnancies.

I\'m sorry to say this, but it\'s INCREDIBLY unlikely this will work out well for your cousin. Teens, for the most part, should not be having kids. She may be in for a rude awakening.
