Hi Fred:
Today was not as happy as yesterday. But, I still cannot complain.
It started out with a long walk with Kathy. WOW it was so hot I thought I would melt into a puddle. Tomorrow she & I are attending an open house of some sort. She is always on the look out for different things to do. I'll miss her when she returns to work when school starts.
Next (after a cold shower) I took Lady Jackson to the vet for her vaccinations.
Afterwards outside flowers got watered & I had some cereal.
I then went to meet with Pat Trimp (financial planner) to get stocks, bonds, etc sorted out. Turned in to a 3 hour meeting. I sure hope he's right about how he is reading the nation's economy. I found that Nick had achieved his life time financial goal. I couldn't help but cry. I so wish he was alive to know how successful he was. I know that with the economy as it is, all this could be gone in just a day. However, the fact that he had achieved his goal even, for a day, would have been so good for him to have known. He was so great in so many ways.
After the meeting I met Marnie at The Sandpiper. She worked at Marcellars on Wednesday nights. Nick & I got to be good friends with her. It was good to see her again and catch up with what she's been doing.
Well, it's time for bed now. Good night, Fred.

The economy is scaring everybody so it\'s wonderful for you to be in good shape financially. Your husband took good care of you :)
Do you think our husbands are able to watch our lives now? I talk to Bill and like to think that he hears me.
