Joy despite circumstance
My mother says I'm in denial. I say if denial feels like this I hope I never wake up. I can't wait to see my dh after work, I can't wait to fix his coffee in the AM. I can't wait to feel his arms around me and his tender light touch sends flames through my veins. WOW how many who have been married 20 years can say the same? My ddmom is doing well. She is 35 weeks along tomorrow. She could go into labor at any time. She is doing well with gs, and he is beginning to listen to her much better. He is still occasionally clingy to me, but is attached to her as well. If he's outside, he wants her outside. He's kinda bossy :) He's doing ok with letting me take him to daycare in the AM, when she has to drop him off he protests more.I'm glad he's finding an adjustment that's working for him. I wish I could just stop taking him to daycare, but I'm afraid handing him to her right now would be too much. With a new baby coming, she's going to need a lot of rest, cant' sleep when a toddler is runnning around. I know I did it when mine were little. I just want to see how she does after delivery, when exhausion kicks in. Will she be depressed, moody, cranky. I see no need in having gs lose his spot in a daycare he likes, if she's not going to be able to handle 2 kids.DDMOM was driving my car when it overheated. I am annoyed that she wasnt where she was supposed to be. I am also annoyed she didnt notice it was overheating before she killed the damned engine. 1900 to replace or repair engine. I hope the car is worth it, Im gonna recheck kelly blue book. Having our only vehicle capable of comfortably seating 2 grands killed right now is a bad thing. I see no way to raise that kind of money for at least a month and she's huge, beginning to dialate, and 50% effaced....And yet, I am still feeling great. Like I said , if this is what denial feels like, book me a room !
