Journal for August 18, 2012

It has been quite awhile since I wrote on here. Alot has happen, I have been very busy.
On May 14th, Stacey(Paul's daughter) and Brian welcomed a new member to their family, Stacey gave birth to a precious baby boy, Preston Michael Conroy. He joins his cousin Sophia Elizabeth Dugan who was born on January 9th.
Will and I are still happily together, we've together for going on 10 1/2 months. We decided to move in together the end of last month, we found a very nice two bedroom apartment in a good neighborhood.
His mother moved in with us, but sadly this past tuesday we lost her to terminal mellonoma cancer. We are still in shock, especially Will, he had cared for her full time for the last couple of years. We will miss her. She had ask me that when it was her time to pass on, that I would take real good care of her son and I told her only if he wanted me. I felt some guilt, because it seemed to me, the longer Will and I were together the worse she got. When I mentioned what I was feeling to Will, he told me not to ever feel that way, that it was not my fault.
Will is so attentive, loving and caring towards me. I feel truly blessed to have found him. I try my best to be the same to him.

I\'m sorry that you and Will are having to suffer the loss of his mother. You surely know how very difficult it is to handle the grief. I\'m glad you\'re there for Will during this time. It\'s good to hear the happiness in your post regarding Will\'s caring for you. Blessings as you move forward. TJ

Karen, Do not feel guilty, when my Carmelo was very ill, I had to go to my sister\'s funeral out of state in Calif. I left him in a nursing home in Texas to go.
The next day after I left, he rapidly lost his will to live, I thought he gave up because I left him but I think it was his time and God angels assisted him home at that time, i would be around family.
I felt guilty for a long time, when the dimensia took over. He passed just weeks after my sister and even though I was with him when he passed, I still felt guilty.
Not till one day, i was praying and reading scripture, there is not coincidences with God. All things happen because it was for a reason.
I realized after reading Psalm 139, Carmelo left at that time because it would not be so hard for me to see him go with out the comfort I needed from my family.
Just as Will needed you, so when his mom went home, it would not be much more heartbreaking for him.
I hope i made sense and may his mom be enjoying praising God in heaven.

Hugs & God Bless,
Judy
