I came out of the hospital on Feb 10 after almost 2 weeks, without a "home" to go to; I had to find something I could afford tout suite. The very next day, I received a letter and like an 18-page questionnaire from Social Security saying they were beginning to review my case to see if I was *really* still disabled. I found an apt., I filled out and sent off the questionnaire and felt good -- two huge, stressful challenges met and mastered. Now, today I get a letter from my pain doctor's office saying that office would close on April 30 AND I got an automated phone call from the IRS telling me they were filing a lawsuit against me. It's probably because H&R Block fucked up my 2011 and 2012 returns, but we paid the IRS months ago -- they just can't get their heads out of their asses enough to figure it out. It just never fucking' stops... Makes me wonder what the fuck I'm working so hard to get better for; shit just keeps getting deeper and thicker... Jesus fuckin Christ... help

omg, the IRS call was a scam. My H&R Block person guaranteed me that the IRS never never NEVER calls. Their customers have been reporting a lot of these...

Well, all that sounds completely overwhelming...so did you find a decent place? And about the pain doc...that in itself would be a big deal for me. I\'ve avoided them whenever I could. Tons of questions from them. Thank goodness about the IRS. But how was that scam supposed to work? They\'d get bank account info...I suppose identity theft? Idk. So you\'re hasslinh with social security. Is this the sort of situation where a lawyer becomes indispensable? I here your request for help. Courage!
TY, spacepony. Yeah, the place is fine. It\'ll never be on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, but it\'s fine. The pain doc is cool because my complaint is arthritis, and he took the x-rays. IRS scam -- idk, they left a number to call, I can only assume you\'re right and they would have cleaned out my bank accounts. As for the SSA, it\'s a Review of Continuing Benefits or some such. I originally got the benefits three years ago, had a lawyer and that was totally the way to go. The disability ruling then was for depression, and if they can\'t figure out that I might still have a problem with that, having *just* been discharged from the psych unit for that and suicidal ideation after almost 2 weeks, well, I give up. I *hope* they\'re not so stupid or cold.

Thank you so much for your concern; the people here really ARE caring, loving and supportive and I\'ve been enjoying and appreciating that. I\'m usually pretty good at keeping my eyes up, just sometimes... stuff gangs up on you. But one thing at a time -- there isn\'t really any such thing as multi-tasking -- and I get along.
