something to share about jessy      ....  she absolutely rejoiced in festivity. she wasn't aware of her disabilities, and had no awareness of anyone who looked at her funny, or what they thought of her.  she just had pure pure joy for birthdays and candles, and singing happy birthday. it didnt matter whose birthday it was. as she saw the candles her eyes would widen and glow and she'd start shrieking, "bow bow bow!"  (blow), and we'd have to help her blow them out. and then she'd stiffen with excitement, and start shrieking and screaming, and we'd all sing happy birthday, and she screamed so loud everyone would laugh and laugh cos she was just SO cute. and when it was done, we had to do the whole thing AGAIN!  she would shout out, "more! more!"   "ta-ta" (candles), and we'd do it all again.  the people who came to our birthday parties and knew jess, came to know the drill. and we'd always have to do the entire blowing candles and singing thing about 6, 7 times! and at the end she would shout, "yay-ay-ay-ay-ay.....!"   people just thrilled in her pure love for festivity, for life.david says maybe she wanted to do the happy birthdays so much, so as to make up for all the ones she wasn't going to have with us. i just thought i'd really like to share some of the wonderful stuff about jessy, with you, and i'd love you to KNOW who jessy was. thanks for listening, lots of love, jan
