Jessica Update
Jessica has improved remarkable. She is sitting up, even drank some Dr Pepper. She has come a long way. She still has a lot to go, there will be a lot of surgies ahead of her starting Tuesday. They will reopen the cut on her face. She is so lucky it came so close to her eye, actually stopped right at the eye so I don't think it will be affected. The cut is the entire side of her face, so I am not sure what the Plastic Surgeons will be able to do for the scar after the cheek bone and jaw bone is repaired.
They are still watching the spleen. She will probably have to have surgery on her pelvic bone. Really they did scans and test today and won't know those results until tomorrow.
Thanks to all who has prayed and continue to pray. Jess does not remember the wreck as of yet or how she got to where she is.
Thanks again and will update with more information as it comes in. Really tired.
We are about 2 hours from the hospital...so being there all day and driving back and forth bit tiring...She is a lovely beautiful girl.
Thanks everyone.
Sandi

Sandi, I didn\'t hear about the accident until today, and I went back and read your first 2 journals about it. I am SO sorry--you\'ve already been through so much. But please listen to Gale Sue\'s advice--Jessica is not Kenny--these are two separate incidents. Jessica is going to be OK. It will take awhile for her to heal, but people live without spleens, (if they end up having to remove hers,) and having a jaw wired together is a pain but it\'s not life threatening. It sounds like she has already made very good progress, so you\'ve got that on your side. I will be praying that she and Aaron continue to heal at a good pace. And please take care of Sandi. She needs to rest, too ! Love to you, Cherie
Wonderful news...please keep us updated & the prayers & good vibes will continue to be sent her way...Hugs, Ann
