Jealousy
Okay, jealousy is another one of those emotions that just make me sick. It makes me sick to see it, it makes me sick to feel it. Especially when I know I shouldn't. By reading my previous posts, you can see that my H was gone away this weekend, for much longer than he originally said he was going to be. Tonight was the first time I had seen him since he'd been back. I was scheduled to work a long day today, so when I got home he was already here with the kids, getting them ready for bed. That was when I saw a necklace around his neck. He NEVER wears jewelry! I couldn't see what actually hung from the necklace--that part was tucked under his shirt. So when I asked him nicely where he got the necklace (should've been an innocent enough question, right?) he refused to answer. I asked him if it came from another woman several times, and he finally said that it didn't, that he bought it for himself. Still, he refused to let me actually see it. The pit of my stomach is poisoned with jealousy right now. I can't believe him about where it came from, yet why should I care? He has already proven that he is a liar, a deceiver and a cheater. So why can't I release myself of these feelings of jealousy?

That will come in time. It will.
It was probably from another woman. Otherwise he would have answered you right off the bat, wouldn\'t he?
I found that this took some time for me, but it really lessened when I started dating, heartbroke. When I got out there and saw that I could have fun, have some adventures, meet new men, let my hair down...all of that. I found I was not jealous especially when I met a really great guy that I love right now.
Keep reminding yourself WHY this is done. It was not your fault.

What you\'re feeling is perfectly normal.
After my wife and I separated 7months ago, I\'d go nuts wondering where she was and what she was doing. I\'d be jealous and angry that she left.....
Now, when she goes out, I get angry when she comes home!
Having jewelry on when he doesn\'t usually wear does seem a bit sketchy. Giving you a straight answer on this, or providing a receipt, doesn\'t seem like much to ask.
Take care and good luck!
I have to agree that what you are feeling is completely normal. I too think it is \"fishy\" that he didn\'t answer you about the necklace. I would ask for proof also that he purchased it himself. He certainly owes you that. I give you serious props, I would be so out of there with his behavior and move on. (((Hugs)))
