Jealousy

I am jealous of -
People who don't have to work
People who have access to medical care
It's hard to communicate in the boards when I'm so jealous of the majority of people on here. When a post ask what people are doing they almost always tick off small things like laundry or grocery shopping, or they get the luxury of visiting a doctor. Almost never does anyone mention having to WORK. It is maddening.

For those of us who can\'t work it\'s maddening that people who have jobs often don\'t see how lucky they are. I would love to work but my illness keeps me from holding a job.

I wish so badly I could work. I feel guilty sometimes that I\'m receiving aid from the government although I appreciate it. You don\'t have access to medical care? I\'m so sorry.

I sincerely hope things get different if not better for you soon. You matter!

I have been on SSI since i was 17 years old and have Anxiety disorder and now at 57 developed severe pain from they think Lupus and Fybromyalgia, and spinal Stenosis. Speaking of jealousy, I have tried my whole life to try and hold down a job and lost it when I messed something up and was sent home like a child because I was so nervous and couldn\'t concentrate. I have Section 8 and have had allot of people treat me like a piece of trash because of it and also because of the stigma attached to people on it. I first thought it was a blessing when I finally got approved for it,but now theses inspectors come into my home year after year and nit pic and find things wrong and then I get really scared since I myself have almost been homeless once and have Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from it.They walk around my apartment and see some of my most personal belongings and I feel mentally like a rape victim. It feels like sometimes I\'m in Russia and it is the KBG visiting my home. Believe me, State and Government Aide is no pic nic, they own your life for sure.

I would give anything to work, or not be alone - I\'m jealous too.. I force myself to try and participate, see what we have in common more than what is different...

It\'s hard....

I feel envy all the time .....I wish I could work, there is absolutely nothing here in this area.
I wish I had a special someone , I am so alone too.
I wish I didn\'t feel envy, because then I think of how pathetic I am

I hear you....Because I would be very, very screwed if I can\'t get back to work. You know what I am in danger of losing and might lose anyway if I don\'t manage to find a way to get back to work. I have to get better. I

I know you are in danger of losing even more if something doesn\'t change for you.

I think that is why what you are facing stirs up such hope, fear and \"pushiness\" in me (toward myself too) If I offend you, I hope you can forgive me.

You are someone I think deserves way better. I wish I could help. I can only say I will be your friend as long as you wish, as long as you are here.

HUGE HUGS.

and I get jealous and pissed too at those who don\'t have to work. There...I said it. It is so hard for me to be honest about all my emotions... :(
