January

I woke up this morning @ 4 AM with a pounding headache.....blamed it on a piece of chocolate I ate before bed. Chocolate will sometimes give me a headache...why I try it now and then, is beyond me! Anyway - I had a dream of Jennifer last night - we were shopping and she was looking @ one last thing in a store, talking with someone there and I was saying, "come on", we need to go....

Why was I in such a hurry? Dreaming about Jennifer should make me feel good, my heart glad to actually see her face, right? Instead, I am so sad today....waking up to reality....knowing it's a dream.....part of me wishes I didn't dream of her ever because sometimes my heartache is worse.....I just saw her last night....come back Jennifer....I want to see you today......SIGH

I do the same way if I eat chocolate any time, but it is like sometimes I have to have it - haha!! To be able to dream about Jennifer must be amazing. I never dream about my Jeff. I want so much to see his smiling face one more time. Hoping you are doing ok and sending love and hugs to you...Nell

So sorry about that headache and I know certain foods do it to me as well. I rarely dream of Douglas so I'm sure how you are feeling is what so many do. Just really bittersweet that when you awaken to realize that it was a dream and not for keeps. Deepest of sighs...

I have been hearing from many of my dear friends from all over and so many of them are feeling so out of sorts right now. Many reasons to be feeling that way and for those of us who wear our insides on the outside it's almost a given I believe.

Our children are forever missed, longed for and most of all loved. This is a reality that I would not wish on my worst enemy and it hurts. I'm sorry dear Vicki...

Loving care from my understanding heart to yours,
XO Joanie

I hope your head is better. I wish our kids could magically return to us. I would love to hear Lisa say, "Sorry Mom, I didn't mean to worry you". Life can really suck.
Tight hugs, M

Reading your journal... the other moms responses... I can only hope you will feel and see your Jennifer in your dreams tonight... I don't know if it will work... but it might... I think I might give it a try... A psychology teacher gave us an assignment; He told us we can influence what we dream about... and he told us he wanted us to make a special effort to think about someone we really wanted to dream about that evening before we went to sleep. He said a lot of time we forget our dreams almost immediately so he wanted us to have a paper and pen at hand so first thing upon waking we could write what we had dreamed about. I was living up in Virginia at the time... miles away from my mama in Louisiana so I chose to think about her and what we'd do when we went to Louisiana for a visit. It actually worked. Hugs and prayers. Elissa and Cara
