Jobs

This morning I heard my parents talking about me. It's not normal for my mom to be awake that early, but she had a conference call that included my father. So they spoke on the phone friar to the conference call and I could hear them mentioning me. I asked my mom what they were talking about me and she told me that I needed to get a job, I am sure there was more to that but I didn't feel like getting into it with her or prying for information. Again, I see my psychiatrist this afternoon after my Abnormal Psychology class. I am no sure what to tell her anymore. I use her for mostly medication management and not therapy. But, now therapy is what I need. No, I need my mom to tell me that it is going to be OK. I can only hope. I am looking for jobs, it's not like I am totally letting that go, I just can't find one. And then to try to fit it in with my school schedule is just not happening. I wish my parent could realize this. I don't know what they feel as more important me graduating college or getting a job? I've gotta go look for job openings.

Goodnight moon.

I\'m sorry to hear that your mom and dad aren\'t really understanding. In this economy, jobs are hard to come by. Plus being a college student and trying to find a job is not easy either. Although I was not a college student when I was unemployed it seems that\'s all I heard \"You better get a job!\" they all acted like I wasn\'t looking when in reality I was applying any and everywhere. I resent all those people who kept saying that to me. They had no idea how hard I did look. Just stay the course, keep looking for that job, it\'s not easy and it most likely won\'t happen asap like people think, but it will happen. I know it\'s hard, but people don\'t understand from our point of view, and that\'s the hard part. I wish you the best.
