IVF #1 Learning Appt
Hello ladies!
I cannot believe I am even typing this journal as I am preparing for my first IVF cycle! It just seems so surreal. I am a total ball of nerves right now as we had our learning appointment yesterday and my meds just showed up about 20 minutes ago! IS THIS REAL LIFE??? I feel like I am going to burst into tears for no reason or throw up...or both haha! This has just been a really long time coming and i can't wrap my mind around the fact that it's here!
The meds they ordered for me are Gonal-f, Menopur, Doxycycline, Dexamethasone, Ganirelix, Ovidrel, Tylenol & Crinone. I will be starting with 300 IU of Gonal-f & 75 IU of Menopur plus the Doxy & Dexamethasone. I have my first scan on Saturday morning so hopefully I will find out when I will be adding the additional meds. I have to say that I felt a huge sigh of relief that I won't be doing the PIO shots, only because I have heard such negative things about how painful they are! But I would be happy to do anything if to make sure this works lol!
Eeeek I am so nervous but so excited to get started! Thinking of you all :)
