it's the start of a new day!
it's 534am in the morning - I've showered and dressed
and I am ready to go down to Chapel at 600am.
Things are good, I am grateful for a new day!
I wrote a big, BIG entry that I am refining or
maybe won't post at all. It's just so long
and involved. But that's what this place is for...
I just have to tweak it a bit. Anyways - again, I am feeling
good and grateful for the day ahead! I go to services first,
then morning meal and then I come up to rest before I head out
to work!

I miss the olden days.
It’s good to keep communication old-fashioned and not overtly and covertly nor passively complicated. Too much chaos ensues when people make communication a sport. Lord knows we all need to protect ourselves. But mental torment sort of excess is not really preserving our sanity nor good self-care practices.
But what do I know? I’m just a hobo lady. :)

when the chords lost their chords, keeping up with them became harder than keeping up with my tv remote. you could change channels and turn them off without the remote back when i had no choice but to leave the phone where i could find it. with all the grand improvements since then, unplugging the appliances has become my most effective tech repair in my tech usage. i haven't been fooled into a remote only microwave, but i took care to check before i bought.

my first cordless phones had locator buttons on the base stand which needed a fixed location.. none of my currently unplugged tech has such a feature. not even my smart phone. let's blame it on my age that i'm getting slower and slower to care whether i ever find them. one blame target is as good as another.

I'm home from work now - today's mental stress has me feeling like the image of Sybil on the cover of that book.
I need a dream to hold onto - I love coming on here - but right now my illness feels like a prison and an isolation tank
at that.
