I had the best with Smokey and will not settle for anything less.
I want to get to know and be friends with a man, develop and good relationship out of mutual like and respect for one another that turns out into a loving, kind and caring relationship. Life is too short to get it wrong. Its why I broke up with Dave. He is a very handsome alcoholic with many many problems of his own that I do not need. He has not developed into a man and has the teenage mentality. Dave was so very needy and controlling. Dave never liked nor respected his own self so how could he like and respect women. The answer is he could not. Smokey was very much a man who liked and respected me. Smokey showed it in many good and positive ways to me. Smokey loved deeply but was a man of few words of affection. He showed his affection which was just right for me. There are many reasons why I miss Smokey so much. Smokey left big shoes to fill for the next man in my life.

Good for you. You\'re really making progress in going after what you want. I\'m convinced that there are good men out there. It may be hard to find them, but we only need one.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too. By the way, it\'s a holiday here too. It\'s Columbus Day so all the kids were off and and malls were packed.
