It was a great 80th birthday party for my Aunt Mary.

It was a great 80th birthday party for my Aunt Mary this past Sunday.  It was in Abbotsford, BC.  Dave had no problem finding it.  We were the first ones to arrive at about 4:30 p.m. and it started at 5 p.m.  It gave a bit of time to meet my Aunt Mary & Uncle Dave and their kids/my cousins:  Charleen, Jane and Pat.  We got to chat briefly before others started to arrive.  I introduced Dave to as many people/mostly my cousins as I could.  I tried not to leave Dave's side as he didn't know anyone.  I know what that feels like.  Along time ago when I was in my twenties some of my past boyfriends left me alone, which I never really appreciated at all.  We got to socialize.  The food was cold cuts: various meat bunwiches, veggie plates, fruit plates, cupcakes, cake, coffee, tea, water and punch.  It was all good.  They had a slide show presentation of my Aunt Mary's life.  It was good.  It thought Dave might be overwhelmed but he said it was okay.  He never gives anything rave reviews so for him to say it was okay is pretty good.  We took a slight detour coming home but left at 7:15 p.m. and arrived home at 8:36 p.m.  We went to bed at 9 p.m.  We were just exhausted by it all but had a good time.
I am writing this in case anyone was interested in how the birthday bash went.
