it's still the morning and so I'll wish you guys Good Morning!
Just wanted to wish you guys a good morning!
Yesterday I wrote a post about connecting with others. I decided to pull it from the journals.
Things are good, but where 'I am at' currently is a mix of things and ultimately wanting to do
more with my life in order to make more of a meaningful life. I've said it before in different and similar ways...
The post that I pulled was a detail about how when I don't connect with others in my life
it can be pretty offputting/insane making- but I realized we can't really connect with everybody on all levels.
They can't connect with me and I can't with them, so it becomes clear.
We kind of have to deal with the generality of such. The understanding has accentuated my
yearning to make my personal life a lot more meaningful. In that pursuit, I think I need that to feel like my life
is worth living.
Though I have heard of the phrase and the book title "The unbearable lightness of being"
that idea too has me acknowledging the catch 22 of maybe the nature of life and yet also what 'we' yearn for.
My mind scrambles to make my life more than it is but I suppose, it has happened in the past, the rambunctious mentalizations...without me having been awake to it and what it meant.
So, rather than get caught up and blinded in the passions of that pursuit I just will keep on keeping on with my plans,
make lists and check things off.
It's a good day and coming on here has helped me regain a sense of value.
Peace and good vibes!

Thanks Jan!! You are a great Lady!!!!
I solidly believe that yearning is most of what keeps us moving. Leaving you to sort your own, I don't put much stock in my own yearnings. Most of what I wish for has all the happiness potential of an impacted molar and some of my greatest blessings are, indeed, unanswered prayers.
Still, I have found my peace with having the yearning nature of a questioner and come respect its place in my human nature. I have mostly worked on not taking myself --or my yearnings-- so seriously.
Connecting with other people remains tedious for me, too, and . . . Well. . . Works in progress.
How 'bout some Italian Christmas music?
